We typically have donuts, chocolate milk, and good discussion in a fairly comfortable setting at the Lillard House. Come join us!

Recently we have been reading and discussing the Authentic Book, which is being written by Troy Jordan.

After the 10:30 AM service concludes, young adults meet in the foyer of the church and go out to eat together usually somewhere like Applebee's, LongHorn, Ruby Tuesday's, Jose Peppers, or another decent restaurant in or near Belton.

We are temporarily not having services for young adults on Wednesday nights, but we are praying together and discussing upcoming outreach projects including the joint outreach with the music ministry on April 11, 7PM at Belton Assembly of God church.

On June 16th we will be featuring several cool things for Young Adults. The band is preparing to rock, there will be comedy, live drama, movie clips, and a tag-team message delivered by Mr. and Mrs. Jordan.

SOME OLD NEWS

YA Grand Opening BIG NIGHT May 26, 2006

We had our first Young Adults big night and it's right around the corner. On May 26 (7:00 PM) we will be presenting the dramatic presentation entitled The Question.

The Grand Prize giveway was a Nikon Coolpix 4.0-Megapixel Digital Camera ($150 value). Second prize was a Sony Net MD Mp3 Player including 5 minidiscs (3.2 Gb storage).

3 YA Leaders Went to Haiti May 15-18.

Troy Jordan, CJ Collins, and Joe Roberts will be flying to Port-a-Prince Haiti and traveling inland to the Hope House orphanage, school, and missionary hospital. They will be looking at the facilities and helping determine some of the things needed to get everything running smoothly there as well as planning for possible future group missions trips. Troy will be putting together a plan to install a modern computer network in the hospital and school. for more about the Mission of Hope - Haiti, go here.

Update Report

Troy, CJ, and Joe returned from Haiti early Friday morning safe and sound. They will be sharing a little more about their adventures at the Young Adults Big Night on May 26.
